The effects of coffee, energy drinks and caffeine on metabolism

What role does caffeine play in weight loss?

I don’t drink coffee and I don’t sleep enough.

I know, I know, I need to sleep more and I’ve even felt the difference that a good night’s sleep can help with fat loss.

But I work too much and never manage to get to sleep at the time I plan so I wake up really sleepy and lack energy throughout the day.
I wish I could have a nice cup of strong coffee because I love the way it smells, but the taste is nothing like the smell!

Energy drinks and metabolism

So, I often grab an energy drink to give me a rush of energy that usually lasts for a few hours.
I’ve also used caffeine pills as the energy drinks contain way too much sugar, and that really doesn’t fit in what I’m trying to achieve.
So I’ve read up on the effects of caffeine on fat loss and actually found that caffeine is the single most effective ingredient in fat loss pills. In fact, it’s the only clinically proven ingredient that significantly increases metabolism!
And when you buy pure caffeine pills you save a ton of money compared to buying diet or fat loss pills.

The funny thing is though that contrary to popular belief, coffee does not have the same effects on your metabolism.

Apparently when the coffee beans are roasted the chemical that affects the metabolism is ruined.
